To make repetitions less like practicing and teach the meaning of Da capo, rather than saying, “Let’s begin again,” smile and enthusiastically say, “Da capo!” using the rhythm "blue jello" as you tap your head with both hands. Motion for the students to join you a second time. Everyone taps their heads in rhythm with both hands and says, “Da capo!” This is a good time to give a few words of encouragement. After a moment, begin singing “Daily Do” from the beginning. Students will imitate you. Whenever you feel that more practice is needed, simply say, "Da Capo!".
Although this short video shows DS-2: "Daily Do" With Do Re Mi Cards, Da capo is used with any "Daily Do" game.
