In Brief:

Slow is similar to Danish Zoo, except each player must play more independently. Players take turns adding cards to two piles in a forwards/backwards sequence

Objectives:

To develop a stronger memory of the forwards and backwards sequence of note and rest values

Prerequisite Concepts:

8 note and 5 rest values and the concept of the wraparound from whole note/rest values to sixteenth note/rest values

Teacher's Role:

Demonstrate how to play. During the game, assess and assist as needed

Repetitions:

Once through the deck. Repeat often
