Classroom Ideas: I like to reserve tempo and symbol games for lessons where I might have an extra 5 minutes at the end. It’s a great way to fit in an introduction of tempos that can be repeated in a follow up class, or introduction of a few new symbols. It’s often in my plans as an “Extended Activity”. Just make sure to return to it in the next class or two.
