Cards are shuffled and placed face up on the rug for students to arrange in order. Explain that there's not a bar line between the title card which has the clef, key signature and time signature and the first measure of notes. This is just like all musical scores. This helps students find the first card and get started.
Everyone works together, singing ”Daily Do" with the hand signs as they lay out the cards in order. Now and then you may need to remind them to watch for Freddie so a card isn't accidentally read upside down.
They will enjoy singing ”Daily Do" and pointing to the cards together as soon as the last card is in place.
